Kenny and Malinda Barton began Barton’s Transmission in 1987, over 37 years ago. Kenny already had a long legacy of working in the Transmission Industry with his dad and embarked on his own journey of continuing Quality Transmission Repair. In 1999, Malinda developed the Parts/Supply side of the business and it officially became Barton’s Transmission & Supply, supplying parts at wholesale pricing to other shops.  In 2018, the Barton’s youngest daughter, Brittany, left her successful coaching and teaching career to join the fast growing business. She immediately immersed herself into the community, including serving as Rotary Club President in 2021. 

Barton’s continued growth has led it to change facilities three times, the last time being in 2023. Their new facility boasts 17,000 sf of space, 14 lifts/bays, Building Room, Parts Room and 5 offices and Reception area. Custom designed by Malinda, addressing all the demanding needs of the business and allowing it space to grow and serve its loyal customers even better! The new location has been featured in ATRA Gears National Magazine with a 5 page spread and is a state of the art facility. 

At Barton’s, the Professional Staff consists of 12 plus experienced professionals, with a combined Transmission Industry knowledge of over 200 years. Barton’s is a Transmission/Gear Train Specialist and keep up to date with all the latest Transmission Industry training, knowledge and equipment. Each Transmission is Quality Rebuilt all the way through and guaranteed with our 3 Year/30,000 Mile Warranty, which is the longest in the rebuild industry. With the large facility and staff, Barton’s prides itself on quick turn around to get you back on the road in 2-4 days! 

Being Gear Train Specialists, Barton’s is experienced with all makes and models of vehicles and is looked to and called upon as an Industry Leader.
